TAURUS, or its ruling planet Venus influencing a prosperity house suggests one may work well in such fields as art, music, aesthetics, architecture, building or construction, fields which combine practical function and beauty. GEMINI, or its ruling planet Mercury implies a mental orientation: teaching, writing, machinery operation, travel or communications. CANCER or the moon indicates a sensitive nurturing profession, such as psychological counseling. Other potentials are jewelry, real-estate, mining, food preparation or service. If in the 6th house, one may have particular expertise in the healing power of gems. LEO or the sun in a prosperity house promotes star quality and a love of applause. Theatre, dance, recreation, sports, speculation and work with children are excellent outlets for this charismatic influence. VIRGO, also ruled by Mercury excels with organization and precise details, especially in medical or veterinary work, crafts and service-related positions, health-foods, nutrition and herbal healing. LIBRA in a prosperity house is a peacemaker, often working as a counselor or mediator. Libra also has exceptionally refined taste and thus often excels in interior design and fashion. Since Libra is easily influenced by others, often indecisive on its own, it may not make the best executive, unless counterbalanced by more assertive placements.
