Problems & Solutions

Each astrological sign has the power to create its own problems and solutions. If, when we are oppressed, we explore new options for self-development, we can begin entirely new cycles of experience.

ARIES has spontaneous creativity, independence, courage and humor, but it must avoid indulging ego defenses and aggressive anger that defeat its spiritual potential to inspire others.

TAURUS has steadiness, calm, loyalty and sensual attunement, but its inner values can feel in conflict with the world's injustice, so it needs flexibility to flow with life's inevitable changes, without sacrificing its own truth.

GEMINI has flexibility, intelligence, objectivity and the ability to communicate. Respecting other's views, it sometimes needs to prioritize and may sabotage solutions if it is inconsistent, superficial or unfocused.

CANCER is sensitive, nurturing and unselfishly caring, but it can be exploitive if it allows its own dependence to dominate its connections.

LEO has confidence, self-respect, charisma and leadership, but it can get lost in selfish egotism and may not adjust to changes that require breadth of perspective or that honor other's courage.

VIRGO is intelligent, organized, refined, reserved, with an advanced work ethic and a love of animals. But it can limit its perceptions, be judgemental and critical, which may inhibit its capacity to value the bigger picture and higher purpose of life.

LIBRA is just (unless giving its power away to wrong partners), honorable, fair, able to harmonize, compromise and negotiate. However, when unexpected change occurs, it is most effective when it develops inner balance and completeness so that relationships are based on preference rather than need.

SCORPIO has intense psychic power combined with creativity and destructiveness that help it release obsolete priorities. Magnetically attractive, it can burn out its partners unless it develops restraint, generosity, and gentleness in word and deed, and avoids possessive jealousy.

SAGITTARIUS is capable of true spiritual experience, inner freedom and independence. Its search for meaning and direct experience of the Divine is genuine and humble. It must avoid thinking it has all the answers because "God is on its side."

CAPRICORN is responsible, committed and ambitious. Inadvertantly controlling, it may elicit rebellion and resistance, so it must develop self-mastery and avoid taking power from others.

AQUARIUS is unselfishly humanitarian, altruistic, socially responsible, progressive, original and loyal It is so identified with its high ideals that the mundane world may seem dissappointing. Aquarius marches to the beat of a different drummer, often ahead of its time.

PISCES is tolerant, compassionate and supportive of the downtrodden. It may need to develop boundaries and to avoid substance addictions in its effort to adjust to the dichotomy between "real" life and its perceived subtleties.
